The utter hell of NaNoWriMo

I’m not doing NaNoWriMo this year. And I miss it. Even though I know how awful it is — my brain seems to remember just the excitement of trying rather than the grief of trying to write that much in such a short timeframe.

Writing challenges for the rest of the year

I’m setting myself a Molly’s Gift challenge. 500 words a day for 5 days a week – 2500 words a week – until the end of October. Or until the book ends. Or until I give up on the challenge.
