Exercise is good for you

Dear teh interwebsverse, I am in pain! On Saturday I went along to an Xtend Barre class at a pilates joint down the road from me and it kicked.my.ass. I love pilates & ballet and this class is the perfect intense combo. LOVE. (I think it’s known as the Barre Method in the US.) I was totally wobbling all over the place during the class & very jellyish afterwards & now all of my muscles are not working very well.

Then on Sunday I had a soccer game (I played for a different team as they were short of players, so I agreed to help them out, but I do feel bad for not playing with my own team & will definitely be sticking with them from now on) and I didn’t have a huge breakfast because after a massive meal on Saturday night (Meat & Wine Co. STEAK & WINE, la) I wasn’t feeling too great/hungry and it was a 1pm game and I think I played it all with my fuel gauge = empty. And I ran. A lot.

Totally drained on Sunday night. And now today, oh my body protests & complains at me. Why are you holding on to that rail in the tram? Why are you wearing heels? Why do you want to open the fridge? Do we HAVE to walk there now?

I am so doing it all again this weekend! Except for maybe the not-enough-for-breakfast-before-an-afternoon-game thing.
