A filler post, oh dear internet.
Item the First.
Hi-la-rious video of a washing machine on spin cycle being force fed a brick. Poor thing. I dunno. Maybe you won’t find this funny. But there’s something about it which appeals to my humour. I reckon it’s all in the eyes.
Item the Second.
Fanfiction can be an eloquent tribute – it deserves more respect
“The maligned trend of retreading another author’s footprints can be sublime or ridiculous, but there are some real gems out there” > good article on the Guardian about fanfic. I’ve never written any myself though… the imagining of things is the fun part, the writing is the annoying $^£*&! the world I hate this $^£*&! part. So I can never not use my own sandbox. It’s far too enjoyable.
Item the Third.
Beauty Captured by Google Street View
“It’s hard to believe these dreamy photographs came from the top of a speeding Google Street View car, but that’s just where photographer Aaron Hobson found them.” > see them all on Visualnews.com. Amazing!
Have you seen Total Recall? Did you, erm, happen to think it was a hard movie to follow? Maybe you’ll find Arnie’s DVD commentary useful the next time you watch it:
(And happy Thanksgiving, Americanos!)
(this was obv supposed to be posted yesterday, but my website was down sadly!)
